Piazza Mazda of Reading is hiring talented automotive technicians for its high-volume Service Center, offering a hiring bonus of up to $5,000. The dealership is recruiting Level "A" and Level "B" Service Technicians and welcomes recent technical school graduates. Level "A" and "B" technicians must hold a current PA State Emissions & Inspection License, have a valid State Driver's License, and pass a background check and MVR check. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing work as specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy; diagnosing the cause of malfunctions and performing and documenting repairs; communicating with the parts department to obtain needed parts; examining vehicles to determine whether additional safety or service work is required; notifying service advisors immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time; road-testing vehicles when required; keeping the shop area organized and clean; and complying with company safety policies, procedures, and environmental rules. Desired skills and qualifications include being self-motivated, a team player, having a service excellence attitude, good communication skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and strong automotive mechanical diagnosis and repair experience.
