Childcare Coordinator – Part-Time

Hannah's Hope Ministries in Reading, PA is hiring a dependable, caring, and energetic Part-Time Childcare Coordinator to provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children while their mothers take part in the ministry's evening programming.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday evenings, approximately two hours per evening, plus up to two additional remote hours per week for activity and curriculum preparation, with occasional chances for extra childcare hours during special events or programs.

Responsibilities include

• preparing and leading age-appropriate activities during the Children's Program Hour
• giving on-site direction and support to childcare volunteers
• ensuring children are properly supervised in a safe and positive environment
• communicating with the Program Coordinator about volunteer coverage needs, concerns, and childcare needs
• communicating appropriately with mothers about their children when needed
• and keeping childcare spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.

The ministry seeks someone who enjoys working with children of varying ages; is dependable, patient, organized, and able to take initiative; communicates well with children, parents, volunteers, and staff; can provide calm, consistent leadership in a group childcare setting; and supports the mission and values of Hannah's Hope Ministries.
