CNC Machinist and Maintenance

Manufacturing role at TAB Industries LLC (TAB Wrapper) in which the employee works independently operating equipment to produce high-quality products in a timely, professional manner while also tending to the fabricating machine's essential duties. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of CNC machining setups, since multiple setups may be required each shift. Duties include reading blueprints and setting up and operating CNC machines to ensure quality throughout the production run while meeting setup and cycle times; building and modifying fixtures as needed; performing machine setup and preventative maintenance; handling first article inspection and documenting how jobs are set up, run and checked; setting up and operating secondary operations when primary job cycle time allows; setting up and operating manual equipment as necessary; requesting orders of tools and materials to keep work flowing; and other related duties as assigned. Required skills include knowledge of metal manufacturing and general production shop equipment; advanced knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, CNC controls and machinery; basic math and computer skills; understanding of measurement; computer familiarity with Excel, Word and Outlook plus efficiency sourcing items and technical data online; ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics; following proper safety protocols; performing emergency repairs on machinery; identifying and replacing worn or
