The Schuylkill Valley School District is currently seeking Adult Supervisors to teach Learn-to-Swim lessons, Student Aides for Learn-to-Swim lessons, and Lifeguards for all classes. The Spring program runs from April 4th - May 26th and the hours are varied depending on position: Mondays through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. Additional hours may be available for adult supervisors/coaches/lifeguards on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Minimum hourly rates are as follows:
Student Aides - $14.00/hour
Student Lifeguards - $15.00/hour
Supervisors/Instructors (Adult) - $16.00/hour
Qualifications:
Will need to obtain/provide proof of Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with others and acceptable record of attendance required.
