Job Summary
Reading Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Infectious Disease Physician to join our growing, collegial team. The role is approximately 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient, offering a dynamic mix of clinical responsibilities. We’re looking for a collaborative physician who thrives in a team environment and enjoys teaching medical students and residents.
You’ll be supported by a dedicated team that includes:
Two Registered Nurses (RNs)
One Medical Assistant (MA)
Two Patient Service Representatives (PSRs)
One OPAT Pharmacist
One 340B Pharmacist

Qualifications
MD/DO, Board Certified in Infectious Disease
A valid PA Medical License or the ability to obtain one is required
Highly computer literate and familiar with charting, EPIC experience preferred
Excels in communicating sensitive and/or adverse information
Sound judgment and expert decision-making abilities
