Licensed Massage Therapist

Core Health Chiropractic is adding another massage therapist to its team, seeking a professional, courteous therapist to provide guests with a wide range of massage services. The therapist consults with guests to screen them for underlying conditions and helps them select the most appropriate services for their needs, performs skilled massages, and works to ensure guest retention. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized massage space; setting up work stations between patients and keeping the area clean and tidy throughout the shift; helping keep linens clean and replacing them between sessions (laundry is part of the role); escorting guests to and from treatment rooms; consulting with clients to identify appropriate massage services; maintaining records and rescheduling patients; and complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations. Requirements: high school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent; six months of work experience as a massage therapist; proficient knowledge of diverse massage techniques (the office is a medical massage facility, not spa massage); proficient computer skills; excellent verbal and written communication and people skills; well-groomed, professional appearance; dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods; comfort performing massages on diverse clients.
