Overview
East Penn is currently seeking a Master Plumber to work at our main facility in Lyon Station, PA. In this position, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems and plumbing equipment in our offices and industrial facilities. This role supports safe and efficient plant operations by ensuring systems such as water, steam, gas, and waste lines function properly.
1st shift position works Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm
Wages starting at $37.00-$40.00 per hour, or more depending on industry experience.
Pay rates are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and training.
Plus a $5,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus!
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair industrial piping systems, including water, steam, air, gas, and chemical lines
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential failures
Perform preventative maintenance and routine system checks
Troubleshoot and repair leaks, blockages, and equipment failures
Install and maintain fixtures, valves, pumps, and related equipment
Cut, weld, and assemble pipes using appropriate tools and techniques
Ensure all work complies with safety standards, codes, and regulations
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime
Maintain, repair, troubleshoot and install industrial manufacturing equipment and systems
Repair and rebuild replacement parts for industrial manufacturing equipment and systems
Welding Fabrication
Basic Electrical Troubleshooting
General Maintenance Work
Qualifications
Master Plumber License Required
5-7 years of plumbing experience, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of pipe systems, materials, and installation techniques
Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
Attention to detail and self motivated
Mechanical Drive Systems
Fluid Power Systems
Rigging Systems
Welding
Basic Electrical Circuits and Electrical Measurement
Basic Industrial Motor Control (480V)
Basic and Precision Measuring
Shop Equipment (saws, grinders, presses, etc.)
