Il Organizational Position

Reports to the Maintenance and Grounds Supervisor. Responsibilities include

but are not limited to duties outlined below and as directed by the Maintenance

and Grounds Supervisor.

Ill General Scope of Responsibilities

a) Mechanical:

Daily checks of lawn, garden, and snow removal equipment.

Services, repairs and maintains equipment, man-lifts and vehicles.

Organizes and maintains a neat shop appearance and shelf stock.

Records all service and repair work done to equipment and vehicles.

Tracks shelf stock usage and submit requests for supplies as needed.

b) Grounds:

Repairs where needed.

Grass cutting, shrub trimming, mulching, weeding, fertilizing, etc.

Trash pick-up and disposal.

District mail and bank runs.

Maintain/repair asphalt and concrete pavements.

Maintain all pavement markings.

Maintain all road and directional signs.

�Maintain/repair all exterior lighting and building signs.

Maintain detention ponds and drainage structures.

Maintain all fencing.

c) Athletic Fields & Tennis Courts:

Repairs where needed.

Set-ups as per PIAA and District rules and regulations. Follow all

schedules.

Irrigates as required per schedule.

Maintains all outside athletic field equipment, bleachers and backstops.

Performs custodiel/cleaning dutic" in field houses, dug-outs, press boxes,

locker rooms, lavatories, and concession stands.

Maintain court surfaces, netting, and fencing.

d) Snow removal:

Includes all District roadways, walking paths, turn around, side walks, and

play areas. Snow removal is a District priority and all personnel are

expected to report to work as directed by the Maintenance and

Grounds Supervisor.

Outside Custodial Position (con't)

e) Other:

Must be able to climb and work off at least a twelve foot ladder,

scaffolding, and vertical lifts.

Must be able to lift 60 Ibs unassisted.

Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, craw, reach overhead (See attached

physical requirements.)

Must be able to work alone and unsupervised.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must perform work in a safe manner at all times.

Must be flexible with work hours; i.e., evenings, Saturday, Sunday,

Holidays and as needed.
