Designs and bids on projects, working from customer quote requests received by phone or through the company website; no cold calling is involved. At the beginning of employment, the position requires part-time work on the landscape and hardscape crews to learn the trade. Responsibilities include conducting phone interviews with potential clients, meeting clients for jobsite consultations, designing landscapes, landscape lighting, and outdoor living areas, estimating projects, and meeting clients for proposal reviews. The ideal candidate enjoys being a valued team member, builds positive and collaborative relationships, can lead the conversation, is people-oriented, and has experience in construction, landscape, or masonry trades. The work is fast-paced with changing daily interactions and multiple concurrent projects, with a strong focus on relationships and service, and a team-focused leadership style that leads by example and follows up well.
