Overview
A Design Engineer I designs battery components, injection-molded parts, molds/tooling, and production equipment for automotive battery manufacturing under the guidance and mentorship of experienced design engineers and the department Manager/Director.
This role performs routine engineering and design assignments while supporting injection molding design, tooling development, product improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives.
As technical knowledge and experience grow, the Design Engineer I will assume increasing responsibility and develop the skills necessary to independently lead and manage engineering projects.
