Job Summary
Available Ultrasound Sonographer Positions:
Full-Time (80 Hrs Biweekly): M-F 12:00PM-8:30PM; Weekday Call, Holiday and Weekend Rotation
Full-Time (80 Hrs Biweekly): M-F Dayshift position including weekends, weekday call, odd shift coverage, and holiday rotation
Full-Time (72 Hrs Biweekly): One 12 Hr Shift & Three 8 Hr Evening Shifts Weekly; Every 4th Wknd 10:30AM-11PM; Holiday Rotation & Weekend Call Rotation
The Diagnostic Medical Sonographer:
Performs Ultrasound procedures according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by a licensed physician or their designated health care provider.
Provides information to the patient about the purpose of the ultrasound procedure and responds to the patient's questions and concerns.
Recognizes the patient's individuality and provides quality care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner using professional and ethical judgment.
Maintains continued competence through lifelong learning, which includes continuing education, acquisition of specialty specific credentials, and recredentialing.
Performs diverse imaging across the spectrum of sonography.
