Chair Yoga meets Thursday mornings at 10 at the Berks Encore Fleetwood Wellness and Activity Center, 14432 Kutztown Rd. in Fleetwood. The class is built around a chair, so you can work on movement and stretching while seated or using the chair for support.
The class is part of the wellness and activity schedule for older adults at the Fleetwood center, which also hosts exercise classes, card games, bingo and other activities through the week. Funding comes from the Berks County Area Agency on Aging.
The center is open Monday through Friday and the center manager can answer questions about joining the class. We suggest calling the Fleetwood center ahead of your first visit so staff know to expect you.
