Mexican Train Dominoes is a drop-in game group at the Berks Encore Douglassville Wellness & Activity Center. Players build the branching "train" lines of tiles across the table, talk, and take the game at a comfortable pace. It is a social hour as much as a game, and new players can learn the rules from the regulars at the table.
The group meets Thursday mornings at 10:30 and is part of the center's regular lineup of activities for older adults. Tiles and tables are set up at the center, so just bring yourself. A few Thursdays are skipped when other center events fall on the same morning, so check the schedule panel on this listing before your first visit.
No registration is needed to join a game. The center is open weekdays and the center manager can answer questions about the group or about other activities on the calendar. Lunch at the center is a separate program and needs a reservation made in advance, so ask when you call if you would like to stay to eat.
