Sing with other center members at this weekly karaoke get-together, one of the group activities offered by Centro Hispano Daniel Torres. It meets on Friday mornings, so you can make it part of a regular week at the center. No experience is needed; come to sing or just to listen and cheer on the rest of the group.
The program is part of Mama Angie's Casa de la Amistad Senior Center, a community program for adults over 60 that works to prevent the physical and psychological effects of isolation. Along with group activities, the center offers individual case management, health classes, computer classes, exercise and culturally appropriate daily meals.
