About the program
Movie Day is a group activity for older adults, offered through Mama Angie's Casa de la Amistad Senior Center, a program of Centro Hispano Daniel Torres. Seniors come together on Friday mornings to watch a film in good company.
The senior center serves adults over 60 and works to prevent the effects of isolation. Alongside group activities like this one, it offers individual case management, health classes, computer classes, exercise, and culturally appropriate daily meals. The program is funded through the County Area Agency on Aging.
