Ceramic Beer Stein
Starts Tue, Oct 20, 6:00 PM · Member: $68.00 / Non-Member: $80.00 · Ages 21 and up

About the workshop
Make your own ceramic beer stein in one evening workshop at GoggleWorks. You will use templates and handbuilding methods to roll and shape slabs of clay, then add texture to the surfaces so the finished mug is both useful and interesting to look at. The workshop is open to all skill levels, so no previous clay experience is needed.
The session meets Tuesday from 6 PM to 9 PM in the Ceramics Auxiliary Classroom 301 on the third floor of the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington St in Reading. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. After your stein is fired, a second part of the workshop takes place at Thorn Alley Kitchen, where you pick up your piece and join a demonstration and tasting with the bartender.
This workshop is for adults ages 21 and over. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and member and non-member rates are listed at the link.
