Ceramic Luminary Handbuilding Workshop at GoggleWorks
Starts Wed, Oct 7, 6:00 PM · Member: $68.00 / Non-Member: $80.00

About the workshop
In this single evening workshop you build a clay luminary for the fall season using handbuilding and coil techniques. Once the form is shaped, you add decorative embellishments and textures so the finished lantern glows when it is lit. The workshop is open to all skill levels and is taught by Cheryl Huber.
The class meets on a Wednesday evening in the Ceramics Auxiliary Classroom 301, on the third floor of GoggleWorks. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Ceramic work needs firing, so turnaround can take a few weeks. The GoggleWorks programs team will email you when your piece is ready to pick up.
This is an adult workshop. Sign up ahead of time through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. The campus is at 201 Washington Street in Reading, and staff at the front desk can point you to the classroom when you arrive.
