About the course
This single session workshop covers the basics of drawing the human figure from a live model. Instructor Lee Shannon leads a series of guided drawing exercises and introduces methods for capturing a figure quickly and accurately. It is open to all skill levels, so you can come with drawing experience or with very little.
The session works with a live nude model, and students must be 18 or older. Shared art materials are set out in the studio for most classes, and personal supplies can be bought at the Art Supply Store on the first floor. The class meets in the Drawing and Painting Classroom, room 318 on the third floor of GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading.
The workshop runs on a Monday evening from 6 to 8 PM. Register online through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and GoggleWorks sends an email confirmation once you sign up.
