Flameworked Pumpkins: Session B
Starts Sat, Oct 3, 1:00 PM · Member: $80.75 / Non-Member: $95.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
This one afternoon workshop at GoggleWorks introduces the basics of flameworking. Working with borosilicate glass at the torch, you shape a small decorative pumpkin, learning to sculpt, mash and add details as you go. The session is open to all skill levels, so no prior glass experience is needed, and you take your pumpkin home as your own work.
The class meets in the Flameworking Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington St in Reading. Wear closed-toe shoes and natural fabrics such as cotton, and tie back long hair before you enter the studio. It is open to teens and adults ages 16 and up. If you are enrolling someone under 18, GoggleWorks asks for written permission first, so contact their programs staff ahead of time.
Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and payment is due when you register. If the workshop fills, you can ask to join the waitlist during registration. Scholarships are available through GoggleWorks.
