About the workshop
This is a single evening workshop in the warm glass studio at GoggleWorks in Reading, led by instructor Janice Peters. Students learn the basics of glass fusing, including scoring and cutting glass, grinding edges, and putting a design together, then use those steps to make a draped fused glass ghost with a seasonal look.
The workshop is open to all skill levels, so no prior glass experience is needed. Closed-toe shoes are required. The class meets in the Fusing Studio in Building 6, and staff at the front desk can point you to the right spot when you arrive. The campus is accessible, and you can add a note during registration about anything that would help your experience.
Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, which GoggleWorks provides by email after you contact their programs staff. Scholarships are available through GoggleWorks as well.
