About the workshop
Make a fused glass lollipop vase to use at home in this single evening workshop at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts. You work through the glass fusing process from start to finish, including how to cut glass and handle it safely, then choose a design and assemble your piece with guidance from the instructor.
The session runs on a Monday evening from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM and is open to teens and adults ages 14 and up, at all skill levels. It meets in the Fusing Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required, so plan your footwear before you arrive.
Sign up through the class page at goggleworks.org. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, which GoggleWorks provides by email. Scholarship information is also listed on the provider's site.
