About the workshop
In this one session workshop at GoggleWorks, you make a working fused glass nightlight. You cut glass, learn safety practices, and see how the fusing process works while the instructor walks you through design choices and assembly. All skill levels are welcome, so no glass experience is needed.
The class meets on a Saturday afternoon in the Fusing Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. If you are not sure where to go, staff at the front desk can point you to the studio. Wear closed-toe shoes, which are required in the studio.
Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, so contact the programs staff ahead of time to get the form.
