This class builds on skills you already have at the torch. You go further into coloring and sculpting techniques, and you learn to work with hollow tubing and blowing. Joe Estis teaches the class, which meets on Tuesday evenings in the Flameworking Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus in Reading.
The class is for adults at an intermediate skill level. Intro to Flameworking is a prerequisite, so come with that experience in hand. For studio safety, wear natural fabrics such as cotton rather than polyester, and tie back long hair while you work.
Registration is handled online through the GoggleWorks class page. GoggleWorks offers scholarships, and staff at the front desk can point you to the right studio when you arrive.
