This glass fusing class builds on what you already know. You work with thicker pieces and explore the line between control and movement in the kiln. Projects include pot melts, color bars, and on edge assembly, with an emphasis on a range of cold working applications. The instructor is Lauren Reinhart.
The class is for adults at an intermediate skill level. Intro to Fusing or equivalent experience is a prerequisite. Closed-toe shoes are required in the studio. Sessions meet on Tuesday evenings in the Fusing Studio in Building 6 at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, 201 Washington Street in Reading. If you are not sure where to go, staff at the front desk can point you to the right building.
Member and non-member rates apply. Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. If the class is full, you can add your name to the waitlist and you will be contacted if a spot opens.
