This class walks you through black and white film photography from start to finish. Working with a 35mm camera, you learn how to compose and expose your shots, develop your negatives in the darkroom, and make prints using enlargers. It is open to all skill levels, so you can come with no prior darkroom experience. Justin George leads the sessions.
The group meets Tuesday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM for five sessions at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. Class takes place in the Darkroom, Studio 233, on the second floor. Bring your own photo paper. GoggleWorks supplies the camera, film, chemistry and the other materials you need.
Sign up through the class page on the GoggleWorks website. Registration closes five business days before the first session. GoggleWorks also offers scholarships and lists its full refund and cancellation policies on its site.
