Starts Sat, Sep 19, 12:00 AM · Member: $63.75 / Non-Member: $75.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
In this single-session workshop at GoggleWorks, you fold, assemble and stitch your own handmade books using traditional Japanese stab binding patterns. The technique is centuries old, and the class is set up so that people new to bookmaking and those with experience can both take part. Erica Hutchins leads the session, which is open to all skill levels.
The workshop is for teens ages 16 and up and adults. It meets on one Saturday, September 19, in the Printmaking Studio, room 201, on the second floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington St in Reading. Check the class page for any supplies you should bring, and add a note to your registration if there is anything the staff should know to help your experience.
Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date. Students under 18 enrolling in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, so contact the programs office ahead of time to get the form.
