Jewelry Making: Enameled Cloisonné Pendant
Starts Thu, Sep 24, 6:00 PM · Member: $68.00 / Non-Member: $80.00

About the workshop
In this single evening workshop at GoggleWorks, you make a cloisonné enamel pendant. You shape fine wire into small cells on a metal surface, then fill those cells with enamel to build up color and pattern. You leave with a finished piece of wearable art.
The session is for adults and is open to all skill levels, so no prior metalsmithing or enameling experience is needed. Instructor Justin George leads the class. Closed-toe shoes are required. The workshop meets in the Metalsmithing Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading, and staff at the front desk can point you to the right room when you arrive.
Register through the GoggleWorks class page. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and you will get an email confirmation once you are signed up. Students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission.
