About the workshop
This one session workshop at GoggleWorks introduces jewelry design with silver precious metal clay. You work with molding tools and basic forming techniques to shape your own piece. When the design is finished, staff fire the work in one of the studio kilns so it hardens into a finished piece of jewelry you can take with you.
The class is open to all skill levels and is set up for teens ages 14 and up and adults, so no prior metalworking experience is needed. It meets in the Metalsmithing Studio in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Closed toe shoes are required, so plan your clothing for a studio setting.
