Mini-Makers Wheel Throwing Pottery Workshop
Starts Sat, Sep 26, 10:00 AM · Member: $44.20 / Non-Member: $52.00 · Ages 7 to 12

About the workshop
Kids play with clay and learn to use the pottery wheel in this single Saturday morning workshop at GoggleWorks. Working as a team, the child and their adult shape clay together and create forms on the spinning wheel. It is open to all skill levels, so no experience is needed. The instructor, Paola Mateo, is bilingual in English and Spanish.
An adult must take part in the workshop alongside the child. Tuition covers one individual, so you need to register each adult and each child who will attend. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty.
The workshop meets in the Ceramics Studio in Building 3 on the GoggleWorks campus at 201 Washington Street in Reading. Finished ceramic pieces take a few weeks to complete, and the Programs team will email you when your work is ready to pick up. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page for this workshop.
