Mosaic Pumpkin Class at GoggleWorks

About the class
Learn the basics of mosaic work and make a pumpkin you can hang at home. Over two evening sessions you cut glass, arrange colored tiles into your design, and grout the finished piece. The class is open to all skill levels, so no mosaic experience is needed.
Kim Monjoy teaches the class, which meets in Building 6 on the GoggleWorks campus in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required. If you are not sure where to go, the Community Ambassador at the front desk can point you to the right studio.
The class is for teens ages 16 and up and adults. Students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, so contact the GoggleWorks programs staff ahead of time to get the form. Sign up online through the GoggleWorks class page. Scholarships are available.
