October Whiskey Smoker Maker Date
Starts Fri, Oct 30, 6:00 PM · $110.00

About the workshop
Spend a Friday evening in the GoggleWorks Woodworking Studio making a whiskey smoker. You turn the smoker on the lathe to fit a cocktail glass you bring from home, then use the hardware that goes with it to infuse whiskey or bourbon with the aroma of burning wood, possibly including shavings from the piece you just turned. Instructor Vic Uebele leads the session, and it is open to all skill levels.
During the workshop you share a charcuterie spread put together by Chef Harley and pick a draft beverage from Thorn Alley Kitchen. Closed toe shoes are required. The class meets on the first floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington Street in Reading, and it runs as one session on Friday, October 30, from 6 to 8 PM.
Each person attending needs their own registration. Optional add ons, including a dinner sitting at Thorn Alley Kitchen before class and a supervised drop off with dinner and a craft for children, can be selected when you sign up. Register on the GoggleWorks class page.
