Rolling Pin Woodturning Workshop at GoggleWorks
Starts Sat, Sep 26, 9:00 AM · Member: $89.25 / Non-Member: $105.00

About the workshop
Start with a simple square blank of hardwood and learn the fundamentals of woodturning. Instructor Luke Voytas covers the safe use of the lathe, turning gouges and other lathe tools, and you leave with a French rolling pin you made yourself plus basic skills you can apply to a wide range of future turning projects.
The workshop is open to all skill levels and works well for beginners and for experienced artists who want to try the lathe. It runs as a single Saturday morning session and meets in the Woodworking Studio on the first floor at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington Street in Reading. Closed-toe shoes are required.
This is an adult class. Students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission from a parent or guardian, arranged with the GoggleWorks programs office before the class begins. Sign up through the GoggleWorks class page for this workshop.
