September Ceramics Maker Date: Handbuilt Mugs

About the workshop
This one session workshop at GoggleWorks is a Maker Date for two. Working with templates and handbuilding methods, you shape slabs of clay and add texture to the surface to build your own ceramic mug. Instructor Cheryl Huber leads the class, and all skill levels are welcome. While you work, you and your plus one share a charcuterie spread from Chef Harley along with your choice of draft beverage from Thorn Alley Kitchen.
The session runs Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM in the Ceramics Auxiliary Classroom 301 on the third floor of GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading. Wear clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Finished ceramics take a few weeks to complete, and the Programs team will email you when your piece is ready to pick up.
The class is for adults, and tuition covers one person, so each person attending needs their own registration. Optional add-ons, including a multi course dinner at Thorn Alley Kitchen before class and a supervised dinner and craft drop off for children who are potty trained, can be selected during registration.
