About the workshop
This one evening workshop at GoggleWorks puts you at a benchtop scroll saw to cut your own spooky home decor for Halloween or Dia de los Muertos. The two holidays are different, but their imagery overlaps, so you can design skulls, bats, spirits or any other eerie shape you like. You draw your line on the wood and follow it with the saw.
The scroll saw is one of the friendlier tools in the woodworking studio, so the class is open to all skill levels, including people who have never used one. It is listed for teens and adults ages 16 and up, and the instruction is given in Spanish. Closed toe shoes are required. The session meets in the woodworking studio on the first floor of GoggleWorks at 201 Washington St in Reading.
