Stained Glass Diamond-Bevel Suncatcher
Starts Sat, Oct 10, 1:00 PM · Member: $72.25 / Non-Member: $85.00 · Ages 16 and up

About the workshop
In this one session workshop at GoggleWorks, you make a classic diamond-bevel suncatcher while picking up the basics of stained glass. The instructor, Katrina High, introduces the traditional copper foil method along with lead came and patina techniques for a finished look.
You practice cutting straight lines, safe tool use, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing. The diamond design suits people who are new to glass, and it gives good practice in clean, accurate cutting. The workshop is open to all skill levels, for teens age 16 and up and adults.
The class meets on a Saturday from 1 PM to 5 PM at GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St in Reading, and is held in Building 6. Wear closed-toe shoes. Registration closes five business days before the start date, and students under 18 enrolled in an adult course need written permission. Sign up on the GoggleWorks class page.
