Stitching on Paper is a two session class at GoggleWorks Center for the Arts where you use needle and thread to add color and texture to paper. You work on vintage photos, postcards, book pages and other paper ephemera, turning them into mixed media artwork. By the end you will have made a stitch sampler and at least one finished piece.
The class is open to adults at all skill levels, so no stitching experience is needed. GoggleWorks supplies a range of paper ephemera, threads and flosses, and you are welcome to bring your own papers if you have something you would like to work with. Sessions meet Mondays from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in the Textiles Studio, room 316 on the third floor.
