About the camp
Teen Steam Camp is an after school program at Nolde Forest Environmental Education Center for students ages 12 to 16 who want to dig into the natural world and take on projects that help the environment.
Participants meet across multiple camp sessions. They look at environmental issues they notice, brainstorm possible solutions, and then work to put their ideas into practice. Some students work on their own, others team up, and the work may open the door to volunteer hours later on. It suits teens who like hands on projects and want their effort to add up to something.
