The Northwest Branch of the Reading Public Library hosts a game night built around Loteria, the picture card game played a bit like bingo. A caller draws cards, players mark their boards, and winners take home prizes. It is a simple way to spend an afternoon playing a game together and marking Hispanic Heritage Month.
The program is open to adults, teens and children, including young children with a grown-up along. Everything you need to play is provided, so just bring yourself and anyone you want to play alongside. Games run in the branch's program space at 901 Schuylkill Ave in Reading.
