Halloween Diorama Contest at Schuylkill Valley Library
series · Free
This program has ended. Schuylkill Valley Community Library may run it again; their listing is the place to check.
About the program
Build a Halloween scene in a shoe box and enter it in the library's diorama contest. Stop by the library to pick up your materials while the pickup period is open. Each kit includes a shoe box, a peep ghost and a peep pumpkin. The rest is up to you, so plan on using craft supplies from home to finish your scene.
When your diorama is done, bring it back to the library during the drop off period. Entries are grouped into categories, and visitors choose the winners. Come in during the voting days at the end of the month to look over the finished dioramas and vote for your favorites in each category.
The contest runs through October and is open to all ages, from children to adults. There is no charge to take part. For questions about picking up materials or dropping off your project, contact the Schuylkill Valley Community Library on Washington Road in Leesport.
