Schuylkill Valley Community Library invites families to the Sensory Trail at Blue Marsh Lake for an outdoor nature program. Children walk the trail and share a story in the open air, with the reading and the walking going together.

The theme for this session is Read with a Ranger. The program is recommended for ages 2 to 8, so a grown-up should plan to come along and walk with their child.

The group meets at the Blue Marsh Lake Sensory Garden at 1420 Palisades Dr in Leesport, on a Saturday morning. Since the hour is spent outside, dress for the weather and wear shoes that suit a trail. There is no charge to take part. For questions, contact Schuylkill Valley Community Library at (610) 926-1555. Check the schedule panel above for the date and start time.
