About the program
Summer Builders Club is a building session for young makers at the Schuylkill Valley Community Library in Leesport. Kids spend the afternoon building, with a theme that changes from month to month. One recent theme was animals, so builders worked on creatures of their own design.
The club is recommended for ages 6 and up, and it runs on a Wednesday afternoon for a two hour stretch. Younger builders may want a grown-up nearby. Building materials are provided at the library, so children can just show up ready to make something.
There is no charge to take part. For the next meeting time, the theme, and any sign-up details, check the library's event calendar or call the library at (610) 926-1555.
