About the program
Young readers come to Spring Township Library to practice reading aloud to friendly therapy dogs. The dogs are trained and certified, and they make patient listeners. Reading to a therapy dog can help build literacy skills and give children more confidence with books.
This is a drop-in style visit for kids and teens, held on Tuesday afternoons at the library on Commerce Drive in Wyomissing. Bring a book your reader likes, or pick one out at the library when you arrive.
