About the program
Mother Goose on the Loose, also called MGOL, brings nursery rhymes, music and movement together for the youngest library visitors and their grown-ups. The songs and rhymes support social, language and literacy skills, and the shared time helps strengthen the bond between caregiver and child.
The program usually runs about 15 to 20 minutes. After that, children stay for creative play with puppets, books and blocks. It is designed for children from birth to age 3, and the library notes that it works best when children come each week.
The program meets at the Wyomissing Public Library on Reading Boulevard. No registration is required, so caregivers can simply bring their child and join in. Questions can go to the Children's Librarian, Miss Daniella, at daniella@wyopublib.org or 610-374-2385.
