Andes Nursery

Nestled in the heart of Catawissa, PA, Andes Nursery is your one-stop destination for all things green and growing. As a full-service plant nursery, garden center, landscaping supply store, and craft store, we pride ourselves on offering a uniquely local experience. Expert Guidance & Friendly Service

At Andes Nursery, we believe that the right advice is as essential as the right plant. Jason and his team are renowned throughout Columbia County for their warm, professional, and down-to-earth approach. Whether you’re selecting 18 American Pillar Arborvitae or planting your first blueberry bush, you’ll find yourself talking to friends who genuinely care. Customers frequently share how Jason “explained in depth what we needed to do to plant and nurture our little tree … all before any money was exchanged!” That blend of friendliness and expert knowledge transforms every visit into an educational experience, ensuring your gardens thrive year after year.

Unbeatable Selection & Quality

With a reputation for top-tier plant health and vigorous growth, Andes Nursery boasts an extensive array of trees, shrubs, perennials, and garden accents. From giant evergreens to delicate blueberries, our stock is meticulously tended to ensure strong survival rates. Long-term customers celebrate the exceptional yield of their blueberry bushes—“several quarts were picked this year!”—and marvel at how “after one year all the giants and trees look beautiful, have shown immense growth, are healthy as can be and not one tree loss.”

But our offerings extend beyond plants. As a leading outdoor furniture store, we feature durable poly rockers and charming patio sets that stand up to Pennsylvania’s seasons. Shoppers rave, “We love our poly rockers and will be back to order more for next spring,” a testament to both style and substance.

Personalized Landscaping & Delivery

Transforming your yard into a personal paradise is simpler than you think. Andes Nursery is staffed by experienced landscape designers and landscapers ready to guide every detail—from concept sketches to final installation. Our installation crews move in “like they came in on stealth mode, planted the trees, cleaned up and left almost without a sound,” ensuring minimal disruption to your property. While most installations flourish under our care, we recognize that gardening is a partnership. Our team stands behind its workmanship, even as customers share candid feedback about post-install watering expectations.

Craft Store & Gift Shop Treasures

Step into our craft store and wander through aisles of locally made decor, handcrafted wooden floors for veggie gardens, and delightful gifts perfect for every occasion. “All the crafts are from local artisans,” notes one visitor, making it clear that our on-site gift shop is a true community hub. Priced below craft-fair averages and stocked with unique finds, it’s no wonder customers declare it “a hidden gem for unique, affordable finds.”

Competitive Pricing & Unmatched Value

At Andes Nursery, supporting local doesn’t mean paying more. We consistently undercut big-box alternatives while maintaining rigorous quality standards. Shoppers leave delighted by “phenomenal prices compared to other nurseries and box stores,” and they return for the best products at the best price. Whether you’re loading up on fall mums or investing in wholesale tree orders, you’ll find that our commitment to value is as strong as the roots we plant.

A Family-Owned Atmosphere

More than a garden center, Andes Nursery is a family-run institution where neighbors greet neighbors and every customer is treated like kin. From swapping growing tips to celebrating harvest success, the sense of community here is palpable. One long-time fan sums it up perfectly: “This place is amazing … by far the best prices and a fantastic FAMILY owned business!”
