Anewalt's Landscape Contracting

Nestled in the heart of Bernville, PA, Anewalt’s Landscape Contracting has earned a sterling reputation as a full-service landscape designer dedicated to transforming outdoor spaces into distinctive, enduring landscapes. Signature Services and Expertise

At the core of Anewalt’s Landscape Contracting is a talented team led by Ed Anewalt and enriched by seasoned professionals such as Jeff Thompson, the “Arborist extraordinaire.” Whether you’re envisioning a vibrant pollinator-friendly garden or seeking guidance on native tree plantings, Jeff’s deep knowledge ensures the right species thrive in Berks County’s unique climate. This arborist expertise dovetails perfectly with Anewalt’s full-service model—spanning design, installation, and year-round maintenance. From mowing, pruning, and snow removal to intricate poolside hardscapes, no project is too big or too small. Clients consistently highlight the convenience of a single, reliable partner handling all phases of their landscape transformation.

Quality Craftsmanship & Inspired Design

What truly sets Anewalt’s apart is unwavering attention to detail and a commitment to superior craftsmanship. One standout example is the custom rock “river” feature crafted for a local homeowner. More than a visually striking focal point, the rock river ingeniously manages stormwater runoff and anchors mulch beds in place, all while perfectly complementing the home’s façade. This thoughtful balance of form and function reflects Anewalt’s design ethos: to create outdoor environments that are as practical as they are beautiful. Clients frequently remark that after comparing several contractors, “Ed and his team were the clear choice,” a sentiment reaffirmed by satisfaction long after project completion.

A Family-Focused Culture & Community Engagement

Anewalt’s Landscape Contracting is more than a business—it’s a cornerstone of community life. The annual Family Fall Festival has become a beloved autumn tradition, where families gather to enjoy well-curated activities, delicious local fare, and genuine camaraderie. Attendees routinely note that “everyone feels like family,” praising how staff members engage with warmth and sincere hospitality. This same spirit of inclusion extends beyond the festival. Anewalt’s “Trees and Bees” program underscores a commitment to environmental stewardship, inviting clients and neighbors to participate in planting native trees and nurturing vital pollinators. By fostering these green initiatives, Anewalt’s not only beautifies individual properties but also strengthens the ecological health of the broader community.

Professional, Friendly, Responsive

Professionalism is woven into every interaction at Anewalt’s Landscape Contracting. From the first phone call to project wrap-up, customers find a team that’s both knowledgeable and approachable. Whether discussing design concepts, material options, or maintenance schedules, staff members are praised for courtesy, transparency, and a willingness to go the extra mile. While Anewalt’s prides itself on prompt follow-up and clear communication—ensuring “lines of communication are always open”—there are occasions when project volume can lead to slight delays in callbacks or quote turnarounds. Recognizing the importance of responsiveness, the leadership team continually refines its processes to keep customers informed and satisfied at every step.

Value That Reflects Quality

Investing in a landscape is more than a transactional expense—it’s a long-term enhancement of your home or business’s curb appeal and functionality. Many clients appreciate that Anewalt’s pricing aligns with the high caliber of materials, equipment, and craftsmanship delivered. As one happy homeowner observed, “The cost is very reasonable and they always do a great job.” A few customers, however, note that Anewalt’s rates can exceed those of other local contractors. This discrepancy often reflects the premium service level, comprehensive warranties, and continual support that come packaged with every project. Ultimately, clients value the enduring results, responsive maintenance plans, and peace of mind that only a dedicated landscape designer like Anewalt’s can provide.

Supporting a Thriving Team

Behind every successful installation and community event is a team that feels empowered and valued. Employees and their families consistently highlight the supportive atmosphere fostered by Eddie and Lori Anewalt. New hires describe it as “the best job I’ve ever had,” applauding a culture where workers are treated with respect and given opportunities to learn and grow. This positive workplace ripple effects into client projects, ensuring each crew member brings passion, skill, and genuine care to every site.
