Experience/History

Founded over a decade ago by passionate dog lover Shawn Buckley, Just Food For Dogs has its roots in a simple yet powerful philosophy: do right by dogs. Inspired by his own dog, Simon, Shawn initiated a journey to transform canine nutrition by creating the first-ever kitchen dedicated to crafting fresh, complete, and balanced meals for dogs. Since then, we have grown significantly, backed by a decade of university-led independent research that verifies the benefits of our offerings.

Our commitment to advancing canine nutrition has led to numerous peer-reviewed studies and ongoing collaborations with leading institutions. With each feeding trial demonstrating our food’s superior digestibility—up to 40% more than traditional kibble—we continually strive to set new standards in the pet food industry.
