Kelly Blake Moran Golf Course Architects

Nestled in the heart of Blandon, PA, Kelly Blake Moran Golf Course Architects brings a wealth of design expertise and a passion for the game to every project. As a premier golf course architecture firm, we specialize in crafting layouts that delight players of all skill levels. From the sweeping fairways of driving ranges to the intricacies of putting courses, our thoughtfully designed venues are celebrated for their spaciousness, inviting atmosphere, and seamless blend of variety and playability.

Spacious Driving Ranges That Let You Swing Freely

One of the hallmarks of our work is the generous scale of our driving ranges. Customers routinely praise the “enough space for everyone to hit freely,” and we take that feedback to heart in our designs. By meticulously planning tee placements, safety buffers, and sightlines, we create expansive practice areas where golfers can focus on their swing without feeling crowded. Whether planning a renovation or breaking ground on a new facility, our goal is to foster an open environment that promotes comfort, confidence, and, above all, enjoyment.

Engaging Putting Courses for All Ages

A memorable golfing destination offers more than just long drives—it invites players to refine their touch and strategy on the greens. Kelly Blake Moran’s putting course designs deliver on this promise by weaving fun, varied challenges into every hole. Visitors often share that “went puttin’ for the day—fun time out, nice atmosphere,” and we ensure that each green is both approachable for newcomers and intriguing for seasoned golfers. Through subtle undulations, strategic hole locations, and thoughtful use of surrounding landscape features, our putting courses become social hubs as much as they are training grounds.

A Welcoming Atmosphere from First Tee to Last Putt

Atmosphere matters. It’s the intangible quality that turns a routine practice session into a memorable outing with friends or family. We draw from customer feedback—“nice atmosphere,” “fun time out”—to shape every architectural element, from facility orientation and natural lighting to seating nooks and walkways. Our designs prioritize sightlines that capture scenic views, comfortable transitional zones for rest and socializing, and architectural accents that reinforce a venue’s character. The result is an ambiance that feels both polished and welcoming, encouraging golfers to return again and again.

Resilient Design That Withstands the Elements

No architect can control the weather, but intelligent design can mitigate its effects. While some customers have noted minor “rain damage,” they agree it “didn’t ruin the overall experience.” That resilience is no accident. We incorporate proper grading, drainage strategies, and durable surface materials to ensure that courses remain playable and attractive, even when the skies open up. Whether it’s a light shower or an unexpected downpour, our facilities bounce back quickly, minimizing maintenance downtime and keeping golfers on the course.

Activity Variety to Suit Every Golfer’s Taste

Versatility is core to our design philosophy. By seamlessly combining driving ranges with putting areas—and leaving room for future enhancements like short-game practice bunkers—our layouts cater to a wide spectrum of preferences. Families, weekend warriors, and serious competitors alike appreciate having multiple practice options under one open sky. This integrated approach drives repeat visits and extends dwell time, making every golf facility we design a dynamic destination rather than a single-purpose venue.
