Kutztown Car Wash

Welcome to Kutztown Car Wash, the premier self-service car wash in Kutztown, PA. Whether you’re on your way to work, heading out for errands, or pulling in after a long road trip, our facility puts you in the driver’s seat—literally—so you can achieve a spotless shine on your own schedule. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we combine powerful cleaning equipment, thoughtful amenities, and well-maintained spaces to deliver an exceptional car wash experience.

Spotless, Well-Maintained Facility

Cleanliness is at the heart of our operation. Customers consistently praise our tidy bays and regularly serviced equipment, noting that "this car wash is clean and well maintained" and "very well maintained car wash." Our attendants perform routine checks on all wash bays, vacuums, and vending areas so you can focus on your vehicle, not on dirty surroundings. From trimming grass around the perimeter to pressure-washing the bay floors, we strive to keep every nook of Kutztown Car Wash looking its best.

Powerful Foam Brushes & Mat Clips

One of our most-loved features is the heavy-duty foaming brush, celebrated by many for pumping out “A LOT of foam to get your car nice and clean.” The thick, rich suds are specially formulated to break up road grime, bug splatter, and stubborn dirt without scratching paint. While most guests rave about the brush’s performance, we’re always monitoring pressure levels—if you ever encounter a low-pressure wand or a hose that needs attention, please let us know so we can resolve it promptly.

Inside each bay, you’ll also find mat clips to secure your floor mats during rinsing. No more chasing mats around the bay or bending over to hold them in place—simply clip, wash, and go. These small but mighty devices help keep your interior spotless and save you time.

Vacuum Stations with Exceptional Suction

After a gleaming exterior, treat your vehicle’s interior with our high-powered vacuums. Praised for their “great suction to suck out all that loose debris (and stale french fries!),” our systems deliver deep cleaning to carpets, seats, and crevices. For just $2, you get plenty of vacuum time to tackle pet hair, dirt, and crumbs alike. Should you ever find a vacuum underperforming, flag it down—our on-site crew is quick to swap hoses or adjust suction settings.

24/7 Convenience & Accessibility

One of Kutztown Car Wash’s greatest assets is its round-the-clock availability. Whether you work nights, shift hours, or simply prefer off-peak visits, our facility is always open and rarely congested. Customers note that “there is usually a spot open when you arrive,” making it easy to fit a wash into your busy schedule. With well-lit bays and clear signage, you’ll feel safe and confident washing your car at any hour.

Transparent Pricing & Payment Options

From quick rinses to full-service premium washes, our pricing structure is designed to offer value at every level. Many patrons say, “Best self car wash I’ve ever used…$11 is very reasonable!” while a few have mentioned vacuuming as “a bit expensive for vacuum but bays were clean.” We offer flexible payment—credit/debit cards, cash, or tokens purchased at our kiosk. Though there have been occasional hiccups with card readers or unexpected holds, our team works hard to keep machines fully operational and posts clear pricing to avoid surprises. If you notice a discrepancy, contact us right away, and we’ll sort it out.

Amenities to Enhance Your Visit

Beyond wash bays and vacuums, Kutztown Car Wash offers a selection of vending machines stocked with air fresheners, microfiber towels, tire shine, and more so you can customize your clean. Our customers appreciate having “lots of car products for sale in a vending machine…nice.” We’re also actively improving our trash disposal areas—once we bring back fully functional trash cans and dumpsters, disposing of used towels and wrappers will be easier than ever.

Clear Instructions & Supportive Staff

First-time users and regulars alike benefit from our straightforward, step-by-step instructions posted at each bay. While some guests find the controls more intuitive than others, virtually everyone agrees that the directions are “clear and concise.” Should you ever need assistance—whether it’s changing wash settings, understanding tokens, or troubleshooting a nozzle—our on-site attendants are ready to help.
