Whether it’s a full breed-standard poodle cut or a simple tidy-up for a playful Beagle, our groomers combine artistic skill with careful attention to detail. “Excellent service every time – Torri always does a fantastic job with Frankie,” one reviewer shared, reflecting the consistency and accuracy that defines our work.

Expert Staff & Breed-Specific Knowledge

Our clients value not only the finished look but also the expertise that goes into every snip and style. Petco Grooming’s team is rigorously trained, with a focus on breed-specific standards and care. Reviewers highlight that our “manager trains up the new folks amazingly well,” and that we “make it our business to understand the breed standards.” From the sleek lines of a Standard Poodle to the soft layers of a Shih Tzu, our groomers can tailor every grooming plan to your pet’s breed and personality, ensuring a comfortable experience and a picture-perfect result.

Genuine Care & Staff Friendliness

We know that for many pet owners, dropping off a beloved companion can be a nerve-racking experience. That’s why friendly customer service is at the core of what we do. Clients frequently mention how “the pet staff are so friendly and patient” and appreciate the extra mile we go—from offering advice on coat maintenance to helping find the perfect collar. One customer noted, “The girl at check-in was so nice and even helped me with fitting a new collar,” while another said, “I really appreciate their attention when my dog Sadie needs a calm, caring touch.”

Handling Nervous or Anxious Dogs

Pets with anxiety deserve special care, and our groomers excel at creating a calm environment. Many reviewers praise the team’s “patience and gentle approach with fearful or anxious dogs.” “The groomers were wonderful with Rocco and very mindful of his anxiety,” one pet parent attested. Our staff uses positive reinforcement, soothing tones, and tailored handling techniques to ensure that every pet feels safe and relaxed throughout their grooming session.
