Our Mission

We believe every pet deserves gentle, respectful handling in the comfort of their own environment. Proud Paws was founded on the principle that grooming should never be rushed or traumatic. Instead, it should be a positive ritual that enhances a pet’s health and well-being. By combining modern grooming techniques with compassionate handling, we help anxious, elderly, and rescue animals feel safe and secure. Our goal is to build trust with both pet and owner, one haircut and nail trim at a time.

Our Professional Team

At the heart of Proud Paws is a team renowned for professionalism and friendliness. Rose, one of our star groomers, is celebrated for her calm demeanor and warm approach. As one client put it, “Rose is so sweet and so good with the dog. She is calm and loving.” Andy, another valued member of our crew, has earned high praise for her patient care, especially with timid cats. “Andy was wonderful with my cat. This was Fuzzies first nail trim and it will not be her last,” shared a delighted pet parent. Each groomer is certified, insured, and continually trained in the latest grooming trends, ensuring expert results every time.

Pet Comfort & Gentle Handling

Anxiety and fear can make grooming a challenge. That’s why we take extra steps to soothe and reassure your pet. Whether it’s offering a gentle touch, speaking in a soft voice, or taking extra breaks, our groomers adapt to each animal’s pace. One happy customer noted, “Rose was a sweet, calming presence for our 4-pound Maltese who…is not overly fond of the grooming process.” Another added, “Andy was so gentle and sweet with her, Stormy even graced Andy with some licks.” From first-time nail trims to full haircuts, your pet’s comfort guides every motion.

Convenient, Reliable, and Responsive Service

In-home grooming must be dependable—and that’s exactly what we deliver. Customers frequently commend our punctuality: “They came on time (early even) and made sure my cats had such a calming experience.” Our streamlined booking system guarantees fast response times; many clients enjoy same-day service when schedules allow. While the vast majority of appointments run smoothly, we take every piece of feedback seriously. On the rare occasions when a no-show occurs, our team follows up immediately to reschedule and make things right. Your time is valuable, and we honor that commitment with clear communication every step of the way.
